Ruben is a truly exceptional find—a rare combination of elegance and ease, with an outstanding temperament that makes him the ideal partner for any rider. Owenbuoy Blue Ruben is a 14.2-hand, 7-year-old imported Connemara gelding with Class 1 breeding throughout. He is the epitome of charm, boasting an affectionate, “in-your-pocket” personality.
Ruben is a pleasure to ride, with a soft mouth and consistent rhythm. He is exceptionally brave and genuine, currently working at First Level dressage and comfortably hacking out alone. He enjoys Cavaletti and pole work, demonstrating both enthusiasm and reliability.
Having gained show and eventing experience in Ireland prior to his import, Ruben transitioned smoothly to Canada and is now ready to embark on new adventures with his next rider. He is perfectly suited for a junior or adult amateur, offering both a safe and rewarding partnership. Recently, Ruben competed and secured the Silver Training Level Champion title over a
three-day dressage event, proving himself as the consummate professional throughout the competition.

This 2020 Class 1 registered Connemara mare, Ruby, boasts outstanding breeding, including lineage from Silver Shadow. Standing at 14.1 hands, she is genuine and easy to handle in every way. Imported from Ireland earlier this year, Ruby is currently confirmed in foal to the GRP stallion Mr. Valentine, with the foal due in June 2025.
Ruby was started under saddle in Ireland, where she worked at walk, trot, and canter, and gained experience in jumping and hunting prior to import. She is truly a gem with a very special character, and we anticipate her continuing her show career after foaling, with the potential to excel in any discipline. A five-stage vetting with X-rays is available.
